Joe Barnas is the Director of Marketing at Thomas More Society. He leads a marketing team responsible for communications strategy, fundraising copy, digital marketing, media relations, content creation, and brand development. His work has spanned numerous high-profile constitutional cases, translating complex legal and policy content into compelling public-facing communications, donor engagement campaigns, and media strategy.
Joe holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics and Public Policy from the University of Illinois at Chicago, as well as a Master of Arts in Medieval and Renaissance Studies from University College London. Prior to joining Thomas More Society, he worked at Iron Light, a creative and digital marketing agency, and the Illinois Policy Institute. His writing has been featured in publications such as The Lamp Magazine, The American Conservative, University Bookman, and Athwart. In his free time, he enjoys photography, writing, hiking national and state parks, and everything to do with medieval history.
